Bearing Housings

ZKL Bearings offers Bearing Housings, SN Series. These are of split type with felt seal suitable for general engineering applications. These housings take moderate loads, shocks, temperature, and are fitted with grease-lubricating nipple. For locating end bearing, the housings are provided with separate locating ring to restrict bearing axial movement inside housing. These housings are made of grey cast iron to IS: 210 - 1993 with Grades FG 200 and FG 260. These are most suitable for grease lubrication. Generally, the initial grease filling quantity should be at least 50 per cent of the empty space with recommended grade grease. The grease at regular interval should be pumped in with sufficient quantity in terms of grams or number of grease gun stroke. This will help to avoid either starvation of grease or wastage/excess of grease. Felt seals to prevent grease leakage and external contaminations such as dirt, dust, water, etc., seal the housings.
