  • Normal grinding attachments consist of a motor, spindle located in a housing through bearings & belt-pulley combination for drive transmission from motor to the spindle.
  • These sub-assemblies are housed on a base, which in-turn are located on the tool post carriage of the mother machine.
  • Drive end of the spindle becomes the rotor and the housing acts as the stator. Light weight, compact & concentric motor-integrated spindle optimizes the productivity & performance of a machine. Dampened vibration while cutting improves the finish of the job. Lesser moving parts result in improved rigidity and efficiency. These motor integrated spindle units can be easily mounted on the tool post of VTL & lathe.
  • The power of built in motor spindle is 3 KW / 2800 RPM. Higher capacity units can be offered on request. Spindles are case hardened & precision ground. Direct driven spindle run out is within 5 microns.
  • The unit is capable of accommodating Wheel: Ø300 OD x Ø 76.2 ID x 25mm thick maximum. Bearings of the inbuilt motor spindle are matched pair angular contact bearings. Mounting & reach extension of the motor integrated spindle for grinding in VTL is tailor-made to suit to individual requirement. The attachment is ideally suited for Face, ID and OD grinding.
