The Shape Cutting Machine, Ostrich 1300, is a heavy duty, foundation mountable, cantilever type & robust in construction. It is designed with pantograph type arms, which keep the hinge points of all the arms parallel to the line of the tracing roller and the torch, thus providing a direct line guiding system. This is primarily meant for cutting different shapes such as stars, hexagons, squares, rectangles, circles, triangles etc. It also cuts straight lines up to 1500 mm length. It cuts plates up to 200-mm thickness. The carriage arm consists of a motor driven 'Permanent Magnetic Tracing Head’ to duplicate any type of intricate shapes provided on a template to the machine. The speed of the machine is varied with an indexed selector knob. The tracing head is moved in clockwise or anti clockwise direction by a selector switch.
