The Metallic Expansion Joint is a flexible element used to absorb dimensional changes or movement on the pipelines due to thermal expansion or movement of pressure vessels or to absorb vibration due to exhaust application. This expansion joint or bellow is designed as per international standard expansion joint manufacturers? association specifications and are manufactured either by hydro forming process or by mechanical process. Fabricated expansion joint is also manufactured from thick gauge material, which is used in heat exchanger or pressure vessels or for special applications. Expansion joint is of various types such as axial type, double universal type, tied lateral type, hinge type and gimbals type etc. The expansion joint is designed to absorb three types of movements, which are axial movement, lateral movement and angular movement. This is also used for isolation of vibration, valve sealing and instrumentation. The standard range of expansion joints or bellows is made out of stainless steel AISI 304 grades. End fittings can be supplied as per customer requirement either of stainless steel or ms such as flanges, weldable ends and pipe ends etc. Normal size range available is from 80 mm diameter to 1000 mm diameter and on specific request it can be manufactured up to 3000 mm diameter in round bellows. The company also manufacture rectangular or square shape bellows of small as well as large diameter bellows depending upon specification and requirements.
