The year 1975 saw a major oil crisis which shook the world. The company immediately set about manufacturing simple to operate, maximum efficiency boilers with alternate and lowest fuel consumption boilers. The focus was on oil substitutes like rice husk, coal, bagasse and other alternate fuels. A pioneer in fluidised bed combustion boilers, the company has many firsts, to its credit: India’s first commercially operative FBC boiler commissioned in the year 1985 operates trouble free till date, bearing testimony to the very high standards set, for quality, superior technology and cost effective boilers. It is also the only company in the range to manufacture both boilers and steam turbines for complete power generation projects.
