Sri Vishnu Heat Treatment offers Case Hardening & Tempering of Steel using high heat flame. These processes involve heating the surface of the steel to high temperature, using direct application of a flame or by induction heating. Then the surface is rapidly cooled using water and thus, creating a "case" of martensite on the surface. It is essential to have a carbon content of 0.4–0.6 wt% C for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of this type of hardening.
