Solartron is the world’s largest manufacturer of ‘Pencil’ style electronic gauging probes. These probes are either spring or vacuum retract or pneumatically actuated with feather touch (low force) variants available. The extensive range includes analogue probes (LVDT and half bridge), digital probes and probes with integrated electronics. The range of ‘gauging probes’ starts from ±0.5 mm to ±10 mm. Solartron metrology gauging transducers are high precision measurement probes intended for all gauging applications demanding high accuracy and high degree of repeatability. The one piece parallel body houses linear ball sleeve bearing assembly, and the choice of either a half bridge or LVDT winding, a combination which adds up to an extremely versatile, accurate and cost-effective measurement solution.
