- Heaters are installed on the windings before varnishing / impregnation process by manufacturer. If not, then they are installed in motor housing or cover (and shield) while motor is opened for rewinding or maintenance.
- The anti-condensation heater is normally switched on when the motor / generator stops. Rewinding costs and machine down time can be saved if space heaters are used.
