Batliboi Environmental Engineering Ltd - Air Pollution Control Division - can fulfill the entire Air Pollution Control requirements from a single source - designing, sizing, engineering, manufacturing, installation and commissioning of dry and wet type of pollution control systems, together with auxiliary equipments. The company’s association with a host of technical collaborators gives it the experience and expertise to provide solutions based on the latest technology. The designs are based on know-how from: 1. ESC Umwelttechnik GmbH, Germany for Electrostatic Precipitators. The know-how is based on experiences of over 25 year on a wide range of applications. The operational temperature is up to 440°C and guarantees clean dust concentrations of less than 5 mg/Nm3; 2. Beltran Technologies, USA, for Wet Electrostatic Precipitators. The important design features are: lead free design; square tube collection design which ensures no wastage of space; shorter collection tube length - easier to maintain alignment and washing; rigid mast unbreakable electrodes with rigid bottom frame; specially designed ioniser rods for efficient corona generation; and insulated support insulators on the exterior ESP casing; 3. Wheelaborator, USA, for Bag Filters. The bag filters have a unique design feature of snap ring bag fixing. This feature eliminates cumbersome arrangement of bolting and clamping and prevents the filter bags from falling. The other advantage is that the bags can be accessed from the clean airside. Some of the major domestic projects executed include: kiln/raw mill, alkali bypass, gas cleaning system with GCT, ESP and cooler bag house for Sparta cement; primary and secondary EAF/ventilation at Adhunik Steel; 350 TPD sponge iron kiln gas cleaning system with GCT and ESP for MGM Steel; bag filter system for kiln gas cleaning for Indsynergy; furnace fume extraction system with bag filters, fans for Jindal Stainless, Siemens VAI; fume extraction system and dedusting system for SAIL, Nalco and BHEL; dry scrubbing system for Ispat Industries; and cast house and stock house fume dedusting system for Bhushan Steel, Ispat Industries. The company also offers Centrifugal Industrial Fans, etc.
