As the world's third largest producer of power, India needs to connect the diverse generation and transmission forms, crisscrossing a variety of geographical and socio economic challenges, often bringing diverse solutions and technologies across the world of electricity into one homogenous answer to today's challenges. As the industry prepares for the 12th edition of ELECRAMA - one of the largest exhibitions for the electrical industry worldwide, scheduled for February 13-17, 2016 at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC), Indian Electrical & Electronics Manufacturers' Association (IEEMA), the organiser, is busy lining up a series of events concurrent to the exhibition. As the apex body of this industry, IEEMA has over 800 plus member companies - manufacturers of electrical, industrial electronics and allied equipment in India. The association member companies contribute to more than 90% of power equipment installed in India.
