Q-Line Biotech boosts healthcare manufacturing in UP with Rs 500 cr investment

In a noteworthy development during the Investor Summit held in February 2023, Q-Line Biotech (POCT Group) has inaugurated a medical equipment manufacturing facility in Lucknow. This strategic move reflects a proactive step towards fostering self-reliance in Uttar Pradesh, aligning with the government's initiatives for overall development and industrial growth.

As part of the ambitious Investor Summit plan, Q-Line Biotech (POCT Group) not only established this manufacturing unit in Lucknow but also positioned the region as a key player in India's healthcare sector.

During the Investor Summit, the company committed a total investment of Rs 500 crore, with an initial infusion of Rs 200 crore in the first phase.

In collaboration with Elitech Group, a comprehensive evaluation of the world-class equipment manufacturing industry is currently underway. The inauguration of the facility is slated to be proposed during the upcoming Ground Breaking Ceremony, with a formal invitation extended to the Chief Minister.

Prominent officials from Elitech Group, including Maurice Verdaasdonk, Vice President BU Clinical Systems; Romain Bergeaud, Vice Presidents International Sales; Jamie Lewis, Project Manager; and Axel Geerts, Project Manager, Production, participated in the inspection ceremony.

The establishment of this manufacturing unit resonates with Chief Minister Adityanath Yogi's vision for a self-reliant India. It holds the promise of generating significant employment opportunities and fostering regional development, contributing substantially to both the country and the state.
