PNGRB proposes 425 km Gas pipeline to boost energy supply in Kerala, Tamil Nadu

The proposed pipeline is designed to conclude in Thoothukudi, seamlessly linking with another gas pipeline that interfaces with Indian Oil's LNG import terminal in Ennore, Tamil Nadu.
The Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (PNGRB) has set forth a plan for a 425-kilometer natural gas pipeline aimed at fulfilling the energy needs of Kerala and Tamil Nadu.
According to the regulatory board's announcement seeking public input, the envisioned pipeline will establish a connection between Petronet LNG's import terminal in Kochi, Kerala, and Thoothukudi in Tamil Nadu, passing through Kanyakumari.
The proposed pipeline is designed to conclude in Thoothukudi, seamlessly linking with another gas pipeline that interfaces with Indian Oil's LNG import terminal in Ennore, Tamil Nadu.
