A major fire broke out at Tata Electronics' iPhone manufacturing plant in Hosur, Tamil Nadu on September 28, causing a disruption in operations. Fortunately, no casualties or injuries were reported. The fire, which began around 6 a.m. in a chemical storage area, was brought under control with the help of seven fire tenders. Tata Electronics, in a statement, confirmed that emergency protocols were swiftly enacted, ensuring the safety of all employees. The company is investigating the cause of the fire and has committed to taking appropriate measures to safeguard the interests of employees and stakeholders. "There has been an unfortunate fire incident at our Hosur plant. Our emergency protocols ensured the safety of all employees. The cause of the fire is under investigation, and we will take necessary actions to protect our employees and stakeholders," the company said.
