Indian market has a huge demand for hydraulic products

Kindly brief us about Static Hydraulic.
This company was incorporated in the year 1993 and we have started our operation for Behala Industrial Estate of limited turnover. As of now, we have added two more plants in West Bengal; one is at Japani Gate, Howrah to manufacture hydraulic cylinders and another one is at Dhulagori, Howrah to manufacture hydraulic presses and bigger size hydraulic systems.

Our main products are various sizes of hydraulic cylinders for industrial and mobile applications. We serve our customers with steel plant-oriented jobs. We have also served Indian Railway vigorously to supply hydraulic cylinders, defence and various other industrial applications throughout India. Our product includes different sizes of hydraulic cylinders, tailor-made hydraulic systems to meet a specific requirement, hydraulic presses, huck bolting machines, and portafilters for oil transferring units. Also, we have developed a filtration unit for separating water from oil. We also manufacture hydraulically operated SPM.

Which industries are the main demand drivers for your products and solutions?
We mainly focus on the steel industry and meet their demand for critical applications such as furnaces, rolling mills, slide gates, ferroalloys, sponge iron plants etc.

What is the USP of your products?
Our USPs are prompt attention to customer enquiries, attend service problems, as early as possible maintaining the delivery schedule.

What is the status of the hydraulics industry in India?
There is a huge demand for hydraulic products in the Indian market. But as an MSME company, we are not able to face the challenge due to financial limitations. Recently, the government is boosting infrastructure development such as roads, energy, ports etc which will definitely create demand for hydraulic equipment as well as job opportunities. Technology is changing very fast and we have to cope with the trend, particularly in the automation industry.

What is the export strategy of your company?
Our exposure to the export market is very limited; however, we are supplying a number of customers and our products are being exported along with their machines. We are looking for a wider opportunity for the export market for our products.

What kinds of emerging trends are you seeing in the hydraulic industry?
The government is looking for infrastructure development, because of which there is an all-rounder demand for steel, mobile equipment, cement, material handling equipment and much other equipment necessary for roads, buildings etc. We are trying our best to associate ourselves where ever opportunity arises.

What are your growth plans for India?
We have touched a turnover of Rs 16 crore in the financial year 2022-23 and planning to achieve a turnover of Rs 20-24 crore in the financial year 2023-24. We are also expanding our working area to meet future demand.
