Honeywell's Global CEO, Vimal Kapur, outlined a robust growth plan centered on three major mega trends: aviation, automation, and energy transition. Speaking with CNBC-TV18 managing editor at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Kapur emphasised Honeywell's evolution and prosperity in these pivotal sectors as the foundation for the company's next phase of growth.

Kapur elucidated on the growth strategy, stating, "Our primary focus is to streamline Honeywell for the upcoming phase of expansion. We are strategically positioned to embrace three significant mega trends and align Honeywell accordingly. This involves the future of aviation, starting with the aerospace sector, automation, which constitutes our core, and the ongoing energy transition. I am actively working towards shaping Honeywell around these three overarching themes."

In a noteworthy announcement, Kapur expressed confidence in the growth potential of Honeywell's business in India, foreseeing a doubling of its size over the next five years.
