Hero Electric partners with Dhoot Transmission for wiring harness solutions

India's leading electric scooter company, Hero Electric collaborated with Dhoot Transmission Pvt Ltd for new wiring harness solutions. Dhoot Transmission has expertise in wiring harness manufacturing and Hero Electric’s products will be equipped with latest version of the product.

In another development step towards EV scooter manufacturing, Hero Electric, partners with Aurangabad headquartered, Indian conglomerate Dhoot Transmission Pvt Ltd. Dhoot is a manufacturer of transmission equipments with 21 manufacturing units across the world. Under the partnership, Hero Electric’s products will be equipped with the latest wiring harnesses manufactured by DTPL, which is also the largest wiring harness manufacturer in the two-wheeler segment in India.

Sohinder Gill, CEO, Hero Electric, said on the partnership, “At Hero Electric, ensuring customers' safety is our utmost priority. The wiring harness may look like a very mundane thing to an outsider but is like the veins and capillaries of an automobile. Our partnership with Dhoot Transmission to procure wiring harnesses for our products is a step towards ensuring vehicle efficiency and customer safety by equipping our products with durable and robust components.” Further, he added, a well-designed and robustly manufactured wiring harness ensures that not only the power is transmitted efficiently and with minimum transmission losses from the battery to the wheel but also that even after years of operation there is no degradation of materials that can put the bike and its components to a safety risk.
