Euro Panel Products Ltd, a leading brand in Aluminium Composite Panels (ACP) in India, has launched the country’s most advanced coating line with an investment of Rs 300 million. This initiative aims to bolster the Make-in-India campaign by enhancing production capacity to 750 tons monthly. The new line, which is also the longest in India, employs a three-coat two-bake continuous processing method, complete with an accumulator. This innovation allows the company to reduce reliance on imported Chinese materials by producing 100% domestically manufactured products.

The investment encompasses machinery and land costs and is set to create 50 immediate jobs, with an additional 25 positions expected within six months, thus contributing to local employment and economic development. This project is designed to enhance the ACP manufacturing ecosystem and positively impact the company’s financial performance in the coming fiscal years. By transitioning away from the Chinese supply chain—where coated coils were previously imported—Euro Panel Products plans to source coils from Indian manufacturers and conduct the coating process in-house using domestic paint. This shift will significantly cut delivery times from two months to just 1-2 weeks, improving service and quality for customers.

Rajesh Shah, Managing Director, Euro Panel Products Ltd, emphasised the company’s commitment to customer satisfaction through high-quality, customisable products that contribute to the national economy. He stated, “Our strategy focuses on moving away from Chinese materials while enhancing efficiency and creating employment opportunities. This development will reduce delivery times by over 75% and decrease raw material inventory, allowing for greater customisation options.”

The integration of this cutting-edge technology will also enable Euro Panel Products to conduct in-house R&D, focusing on design and texture innovations. This capability will allow the company to offer exclusive customised designs with specialised coatings and extended warranties to its clients. By sourcing only base coils for coating based on demand, the company aims to minimise the need for holding a diverse inventory of coated coils.

This strategic initiative goes beyond just boosting employment and efficiency; it will optimise resource use, reduce man-hours, and enhance customisation flexibility. Additionally, it opens up new business opportunities by enabling the provision of coated coils, contributing to increased turnover.
