How has been the journey of Neumatica Technologies so far?
Neumatica has pioneered the hydro-pneumatic press technology in assembly related pressing applications since 1992. In early 2004, it started offering customised solutions in pressing applications. Ever since, it has continuously evolved its product offerings. In 2014, Neumatica diversified its product portfolio by offering pressing solutions with hydraulic and servo press technologies. Innovations are the key parameter of growing business. Neumatica now offers innovative automation solutions with automatic, semi-automatic and manual components assembly lines. Neumatica also markets products under Press-o-matic brand. Recently, the company received the Best Pneumatic Press supplier in Asia award from AI Global, UK.

Which industries are driving the demand for your products?
Neumatica is catering to the industry verticals such as automotive, aerospace, sheet metal, powder metallurgy, packaging and general industry. Neumatica has a wide spectrum of press machines and assembly lines. Automotive industry has been leading the demand for state-of-the art press machines with safety, productivity and quality assured process oriented machines.

How is rise in demand for low-cost automation leading to increase in need for mechatronics?
The manufacturing industries are investing more on quality machines that produces quality components with highest standards. Only the fully automatic machines could qualify for these requirements as these machines are built with component presence sensors, poke-yoke, process orientation and achievement of the expected results with component accept or reject mechanism in place. This eliminates the operator errors and ensures that only the quality components are produced.

Are robotics & automation two major drivers for mechatronics?
The market demands are increasing day by day for the 100-percent quality assured and cost-effective components with on-time delivery commitment. Smart manufacturing or Industry 4.0 is gaining popularity. A well-designed machine with utilisation of proper mechatronics components could be an excellent proposition. Certainly, the automation and robotics are the key drivers of mechatronics.

Has increased usage of electronics in automotive given an opportunity to companies offering mechatronic products?
The automotive manufacturing world is looking for innovative machines which are becoming more and more complex. The data acquisition & automatic processing has become the key factor. This could be a great opportunity for the companies offering mechatronic products.

What are emerging trends in mechatronics?
The industry is rapidly moving on servo-driven press systems and assembly lines. Its certain advantages made things possible not withstanding its initial increase in investment. Industry 4.0 has numeral benefits to the industry. The future belongs to the mechatronics engineering.

What are your growth plans for the company?
Neumatica has been growing rapidly in the last couple of years. In the current financial year, we are logging more than 100% growth. Thanks to our exclusive customers for their patronage and continuous support. Their demand for automated press solutions made us to offer state-of-the art machines. Neumatica is continuously investing on new developments of products. Press-o-matic Servo press is one such new product from its stable.

Neumatica has been focused on pressing solutions for the industry. It has a track record of 25 years of offering variety of pressing solutions. Today, it has emerged as one of the leading assembly pressing solutions provider in South Asia.  It has embarked on offering customised press machines and assembly lines with data acquisition and storage features. The Press-o-matic machines could give an assured RoI within two years. Selection of right machines is the key factor. With its 25 years of expertise and pool of committed and talented team we make it possible.
