Lapp India - a 100 per cent subsidiary of the Germany-based Lapp Group and a leading supplier of integrated solutions and branded products in the field of cable and connection technology in India - has launched signalling cable and Epic connector and Skintop at the International Railway Equipment Exhibition (IREE) 2019, held from October 22-24 in New Delhi.

Lapp connector has a standardised design for the railway segment with enhanced durability due to its external weather and UV-resistance technology. LAPP products are physically cross-linked in electron beam radiation system using high-energy beams. This gives them significantly improved mechanical and chemical resistance, even at elevated temperatures. Lapp railway products meet national and international norms and standards like IRIS and RDSO-approved products for Indian Railways.

Lapp’s Skintop cable glands, which ensure a secure connection in a matter of seconds, are simple, perfect and easy to install. The cable is securely fixed, centred and hermetically sealed.

The company’s Epic rectangular or circular connectors find application in any machine and plant engineering or drive technology used for measuring, control, regulation or drive. These are a flexible system consisting of casings, inserts, contacts and accessories which are perfectly suited to any requirement.
