Stucke Group to display protection devices at Elecrama 2025

The Hamburg (Germany) based Stucke Elektronik GmbH (Stucke Group) will present its multifunctional control and protection devices for engine control as well as generator, motor, transformer, feeder, distance and line differential protection and arc protection systems at Elecrama 2025. These devices can be used for low, medium and high voltage systems, for gas and diesel engines, gensets and power units. Stucke Elektronik also offers comprehensive after-sales-service including repair and spare parts.

Stucke Group offers products and solutions for reliable availability of energy (on land and on water) and secure energy supply through control and protection of energy supply systems. Stucke's multifunctional protective relays in the form of control and protection devices offer motor control, generator protection, motor protection, transformer protection, feeder protection, distance protection, line differential protection, network protection, DC protection, power management, DP systems, arc protection, reactive power undervoltage protection, network decoupling and dynamic grid control for low, medium and high voltage systems, for gas and diesel engines and units. It offer solutions for retrofitting as well as for hybrid applications and battery storage systems.

Some of the products offered by Stucke Group are:
  • SYMAP: It is a flexible digital protection and control device for low, medium and high voltage power systems. It has three powerful micro-processors, integrated protection functions and HMI interface. This efficient and cost-effective solution for all types of switchgear offers comprehensive protection and control functions for generators, transformers, motors, feeder, power lines, networks, DP systems, battery solutions etc. It has type approvals from common ship classification societies as well as type approval for cyber security and power management.
  • SYMAP Compact+: It is a digital protection and control device for use in low and medium voltage systems, equipped with three powerful processors and comprehensive protection functions for generators, motors (synchronous and asynchronous), transformers, power lines and distributions. The protective functions can be activated and used at the same time without restrictions. To ensure maximum flexibility during commissioning and use, both the digital and analog outputs can be connected to the main control panel via the SYMAP Compact+ control. Furthermore, it is possible for the SYMAP Compact+ and the station control technology to communicate with each other via a variety of serial interfaces and different data protocols. The device's wide range of programming options with a user-friendly operating software allows for extensive and cost-efficient application options.
  • SYMAP R (Retrofit): It is a digital protection system for medium and high voltage switchboards on vessels. As part of obsolescence management, this device was specially developed as an efficient plug-in retrofit solution for the protection devices such as HIMAP FI (feeder protection), HIMAP MI (motor protection), HIMAP 87M (motor differential current detection), and HIMAP TI (transformer differential current detection).
  • SYMAP ARC: It is a protection system that detects an electric arc caused by a short circuit through an optical sensor and the load current input on the system to ensure the fast clearance of arc faults on an electrical system with short tripping time (< 2ms).
