IMTMA to host FACTEQ exhibition for factory equipment in May 2024

FACTEQ 2024 - co-located with Pune Machine Tool Expo - would bring the entire range of factory equipment required to design, build, maintain and upgrade factories, under one single roof.

Indian Machine Tool Manufacturers’ Association (IMTMA), which organises IMTEX, is launching FACTEQ 2024, a first-of-its-kind expo in India focusing on complete solutions for factories. The expo will be held from May 23 - 26, 2024 at the Pune International Exhibition and Convention Centre, MOSHI, Pune.
FACTEQ 2024 would bring the entire range of factory equipment required to design, build, maintain and upgrade factories, under one single roof. Exhibitors would display cutting-edge factory solutions to meet the requirements of various industry sectors. FACTEQ 2024 is co-located with Pune Machine Tool Expo, western region’s leading machine tool and manufacturing technology exhibition.
Giving his views on FACTEQ 2024, Jibak Dasgupta, Director General & CEO, IMTMA stated: “As India’s manufacturing industry moves towards contributing $1 Trillion to the economy by 2030, industries are expected to grow multi-fold resulting in demand for new factories and necessitating upgradation of existing factory setups. Considering these factors IMTMA has come up with FACTEQ 2024 which is a unique model in India which enables customers to source safe, sustainable, and environment-friendly solutions for the factories of tomorrow.”
Formed in 1946, IMTMA is the apex body of the Indian machine tool industry and plays an important role in its development through various advocacy measures. IMTMA has supported the setting up of institutions such as the Advanced Machine Tool Testing Facility and Advanced Manufacturing Technology Development Centre and worked closely with the government to set up a first-of-its-kind machine tool park in Karnataka. IMTMA has been at the forefront of skill development through its Technology Centres in Bengaluru, Pune and Gurugram. Its flagship show IMTEX is one of the leading global machine tool exhibitions.
