Chandrasekar Krishnamurthy appointed as BorgWarner’s Product Management Director

BorgWarner PowerDrive Systems has experienced significant growth in recent years, adding a robust product portfolio with a focus on electrification and electronics. As part of this growth journey, it is essential to realign the focus towards thier family of products to drive competitiveness in cost, technical maturity, time to industrialise/market, and compliance. They are have appointed Chandrasekar Krishnamurthy as the Global Director of Product Management, effective from March 1, 2025.

In this role, Krishnamurthy will lead the product management team responsible for accelerating product industrialisation readiness and developing competitive product platform solutions in collaboration with other functions. He will also focus on aligning product roadmaps with Strategy and Sales, ensuring the delivery of competitive and compliant solutions on time. Additionally, he will drive engineering efficiency initiatives to enhance productivity and contribution margins while continuously improving the Engineering Development Framework and ensuring compliance with Product Safety and Security standards across product engineering.
