Hoists - Electric Wire Rope

Eddycranes Engineers manufactures “Elmech” make Wire Rope Electric Hoists from 0.5 tonnes to 150 tonnes capacity and maximum height of lift of 200 mtr in accordance with Class I, II, III, IV heavy-duty specification as per IS: 3938-1983. “Elmech” hoists are manufactured offering foolproof electro mechanical brakes operating on conical rotor motor principles. These brakes are far superior to elecro hydraulic thruster brakes offered by most other manufactures. All “Elmech” hoists have high torque, crane duty, 40% CDF, Class “F” insulated conical motors suitable for 150 starts/hour. Brakes are provided in hoisting as well as cross traversing motion. “Elmech” hoists are available in four basic arrangements, viz., fixed mounted type, push pull trolley type, hand operated trolley type and motor driver trolley type. Hoists are also manufactured to suit special applications, e.g., for outdoors location, hoist with driver’s cabin, twin hoist for exceptionally high height of lift or high hoisting speeds, etc. Each “Elmech” electric hoist can be supplied with micro speed attachment in hoisting motion as well as cross-traversing motion to reduce the original speed to 15% or 10%. Each “Elmech” hoist is supplied with control panel, consisting of motor contractors, single-phase preventers with overload relays, transformers, fuses as well as pendant push button station for operation.
