EPM Tilting Lifter for Sheets

Uptech Engineering offers Ultra brand electro permanent magnetic (EPM) Tilting Lifter for Sheets, Series UL- 820. Features: for handling sheets in vertical or horizontal position; EPM lifting magnet designed with consideration of all industrial safety knobs; very compact light weight high strength and very reliable and safe in use; a combination of permanent as well as electro magnet power for clamping/declamping of the job; lifted plate will not fail down even when electric power fails because EPM lifter requires power only during clamping/declamping and not for holding the plates, hence 100% safe; saving power as continuous electricity is not required, an advantage of saving electricity over conventional electromagnetic lifter; EPM lifter is used with combination of various magnets at fixes structure with provision of chain, which helps handle plain as well as bend sheets, taking care of the profiles; safety interlock key to magnetised/demagnetised state – two buttons to be pressed simultaneously to avoid chance of accident; “inching" feature – when the magnets is switch On, it might lift more than a single plate, so the inching operation reduces the magnetic power slowly such that additional plates, if lifted are dropped, ensuring only one plate is handled at a time; lamp block – displays the systems present state; and spreader beam fitted with suspension systems/control panel/indicative tower lamp, etc. Applications: Ideal for handling single plates in stockyards; Most effective in ship building industry; used on flame/plasma cutting machines and water jet cutting machines; for handling small as well as large plates; designed as per customer’s plate sizes; controller has special facility of selector switch help for lifting small size sheets and large plates; and very suitable with EOT/gantry/mobile cranes, etc. Optional units: radio remote control – operates from a convenient distance all the functions, i.e., Mag/Demag/Inching; and ADPREM – Accidental Demagnetisation Prevention Mechanism which disables the demagnetisation cycle when carrying load. Design: designing of EPM plate lifter depends upon minimum and maximum size of plate (length x weight x thickness); crane capacity; and weight of plates.
