PTFE Lip Seals

Dataseal India offers PTFE Lip Seals. These have proven and effective alternative to the high cost of mechanical face seals and the limited performance of elastomer rubber lip seals (oil seals). PTFE lip seals deliver the best economical design, ease of installation and higher seal performance. The seals are designed to fit most standard rubber oil seal sizes for ease of replacement spring and non-spring actuated shaft seals used for sealing rotating shafts. These seals are widely used in the industry for sealing gases, harsh chemicals, abrasives, and numerous types of lubricants. Advantages and applications: dynamic seal: rotary, reciprocating, oscillating; non-stick-slip phenomenon; abrasion resistance material, long lifetime; good chemical resistance; compatible with the standard seal DIN 7360/ISO 6194/1; temperature range – -60°C to +260°C; pressure – 35 bar (500 psi); and surface speed – 50 m/sec.
