Wear Resistant Rings/Sleeves

Samani Engineers offers various kinds of wear rings. The material used is En31, hardened and tempered to 5560 HRC. The ring/sleeve is pressed on heavy duty shaft where oil seal or other wearing parts are in contact. The wear of shaft causes heavy downtime of the system ence affects efficiency. The pressing of sleeve avoids direct wear of shaft and also enhances life of nearby mating parts on shaft like bearing. A specific sleeve for journal shaft coal mill XRP-803/ XRP-763 was successfully developed and employed at Chandrapur Thermal Power Station, where the downtime of the journal shaft has been reduced tremendously and life of bearing has crossed 10,000 hours. The units has all the machining facility available including heat treatment and grinding supported with all inspection facilities required.
