Kalki Mechanical Prototypes was established in the year 2005 with the aim of becoming a world class engineering services company. It is one of few companies around the world, which has the capability to design and build special purpose machines, consumer products, automotive systems (suspensions, engines, transmissions), products for the specially enabled, medical products, power generators, etc. The main job is to offer world class design, engineering and prototyping services to the industries at the lowest possible prices, in terms of the following steps: 1. Understanding the client's product and quality requirement; 2. Designing a suitable low cost solution; 3. Building a wooden mock-up model for checking measurements and minimising errors; 4. Develop a high quality low cost prototype; and 5. Ensure a fast, high quality low cost solution as per client’s requirement. The total business activities comprise: new product development (machines, components, automobiles, etc); prototype fabrication (machining, welding, sheet metal work, cast iron/aluminium/steel foundry, pattern shop) from designs; 3D CAD (SolidWorks); 2D drafting (AutoCAD); product development training for engineers in companies and for students; CAD (SolidWorks) training for students/engineers; and drafting training for engineers to understand the nuances of professional drafting.
