Portable Fire Pumps,High Capacity Petrol Version

Vijay Fire Protection Systems, manufacturers of a range of mobile fire fighting equipment, offers portable fire pumps. These are available in petrol or diesel versions. The petrol version consists of a single stage centrifugal fire pump fitted with an engine of 8/9 HP. Engine and pump are both fitted on a suitable cradle designed of tubular steel, with handles. The pump has a capacity of 300 LPM at the rate of 5 kg/cm2 The diesel version consists of a single stage centrifugal fire pump fitted with a Greaves Lombardini engineof 6.6 HP. Engine and pump are both fitted on a suitable cradle designed of tubular steel, with handles. The pump has a capacity of 275 LPM at the rate of 4.2 kg/cm2. A high capacity version using a petrol engine of 40 HP is also available. The engine is coupled to a single stage pump that delivers 1,600 LPM at the rate of 7 kg/cm2. It has a self starting arrangement and a heat exchanger to allow for prolonged fire fighting operation. The fuel tank carries enough fuel for two hours running. The unit is light enough for a person to carry. Vijay produets are tested for quality and high, performance, by qualifled engineers, at the company's well equipped quality control department. The equipment is used by refineries, defense units, thermal power stations, fire brigades and various other plants.
