These are concentrated mixture of 3 neutralising amines – cyclohexylamine, morpholine, and diethylhydroxylamine (DEAE). These chemicals are used for water boiler and steam boiler systems. Condensate treatment is an amine product that is normally fed to the steam boiler header of feed water line. These products can be fed directly from the shipping container into the system that is being treated. The preferred feed point is the main steam header that is located at a point that has rich distribution network. These chemicals can also be blended in a chemical feed tank with the other material that are required to execute the program and fed to the boiler. Copper, copper alloys and aluminium must be eschewed on direct feed component contact. These chemicals are generally base fed and depend on the volume of steam being generated. For extensive distribution systems, samples must be taken from various points until it is assured that the desired distribution of the product is achieved.
