Grinding Wheel Balancer

The electromechanical grinding wheel balancing system from Marposs helps to achieve a better surface quality, longer machine life and a higher productivity. The grinding wheel balancer measures the vibrations induced by the unbalanced mass of the wheel and restores the wheel to optimum dynamic conditions by adjusting compensation weights located inside the spindle or in a housing which sits on the flange of the grinding wheel. Utilizing cableless signal transmission technology the wheel balancer provides high precision, short setting times, and low maintenance requirements.
