Window Friction Stay, Adjustable

Mehtab Steel and Alloys manufactures precision hardware in SS 304 for buildings and furniture. The company has developed an adjustable window friction stay system for use as hinges for aluminium windows and curtain walling/glass glazing. Traditional hinges used in aluminium windows upset the adjustment of the window in a few months time and the window does not shut properly. Sliding windows result in wastage of space and partial ventilation. This product offers a solution to these problems. The materials used are SS 304, brass and nylon grade 66. The washers between the strips are made of nylon 66 for high impact and longer life. For strong winds, a special pressure adjustment is provided to increase friction thereby keeping the window open at the desired angle. The friction stay is available in two sizes: 10"for shutter size 2'(L) x 4' (H) and 14"for shutter size 3' (L) x 6' (H). It has been tested 20 and 40 kg respectively.
