Doorcase Adjusting Device

Ernsts Dunnemann introduces a doorcase adjusting device placed on the hinges of standardized doorcases instead of the door. This gauging instrument enables the correct adjustment of a doorcase before it is fixed in a wall, replacing the use of a spirit level and making the job of adjustment easier, quicker and more precise. The device consists of a square pipe with a water level to control the exact vertical position of the case. A square, which is unfolded from inside the pipe, controls the horizontal. A battery-operated line laser directs beams at the opposite side of the case and shows whether this side and the hinge axis are plane to one another.
