Universal Data Loggers

Scan Electronic System has developed a fully indigenous 32-channel input Data Logger, Uniscan 3200. It has satisfied the requirements of many customers throughout the country. This compact panel mounting or tabletop unit has maximum 32 universal inputs. The type of inputs includes RTD, thermocouples (J,K,R,S,T,B,E), mA (4-20, 0-20) and mV for each channel. Type of input for each channel is field settable through front panel keypad. Inputs like mA and mV can be scaled in appropriate engineering unit.
A unique multipoint scaling facility enables the user to linearise even non-linear inputs. This data logger provides alarm annunciation facility with alarm indication on LED for each channel and a common alarm relay output. The logger has 20 characters by 2 lines backlit LCD display. This enables user to give suitable tag name to each channel for example steam temperature, boiler pressure, etc. Data is stored in internal battery backed SRAM. Data can be downloaded to PC at a suitable time as an ASCII File, which can be opened in Excel. User can also take a direct printout from the data logger on a standard dot-matrix printer.

This data logger can also be connected for online continuous recording on PC through RS232 / RS485 serial port. Communication protocol supported is MODBUS RTU, which is compatible to all standard SCADA and PLC.
