Steel Boom Barrier, Crash Resistant

The crash resistant steel boom barrier is designed to prevent forced vehicle entries, vehicle ramming and vehicle based attacks. These barriers are ideally suited for military installations, oil refineries, power plants, nuclear facilities, embassies and government buildings. The boom is fabricated from 3 mm thick square MS pipe of 75 x 75 mm. The length of the boom is customised to match the site requirement (between 3 and 6 m). The boom is crossbar in design (ladder shape) as shown in the drawing. Operating mechanism: an electromechanical drive unit is designed for heavy-duty operation. All mechanical components are encapsulated in a weather resistant, watertight capsule filled with oil for silent and maintenance free operation. Option is available for electro-hydraulic mechanism.
