Photon Controls (I) offers photoelectrical switches for various applications like position sensing, object counting, safety, security, edge sensing, guiding, limit switching, etc. The unit consists of modulated infrared transmitter and receiver with different arrangements like through scan, retroreflective and diffused scan methods. Depending on availability of space in machine and the object to be sensed in process the units are selected. The units are available in various specifications like AC/DC supply and relay, transistor output various sizes and shapes to suit OEM requirements and replacement. The units are designed as per the international standards in order to meet various requirements of the customers. In thru beam type range can be offered up to 100 metres, in retroreflective up to 8 metres and in diffused scan switches up to 1 metre. Diffused scan switches are widely known as proximity switches. The basic advantage of these switches is, it can sense non-metallic things also irrespective of wether it is transparent or opaque. Proximity switches come with standard variable sensing range of 100/200 mm output, PNP/NPN transistor output (100 mA) and M18 dia. The slot sensors are special application of the through beam sensor with fixed distance and variable sensitivity. The sensors are available in MS/brass with chrome plated ABS plastic housing to meet requirements of various sizes and shapes.
