Miniature Through Beam Sensors

Photon Controls offers Miniature Through Beam Sensors. It operates on modulated infrared beam principal. It consists of separate transmitter as a source and a receiver with built-in amplifier to detect plastics, cloth, metal, paper, and ceramic including opaque and transparent material. The transmitter and receiver both are having prefixed cable which can be extended to required length. It works on 10 to 30 V DC and offers NPN and PNP transistorised output and current capacity up to 200 mA (max), which can suitably drive a relay. It is housed in plastic as well as brass housings of M18 dia and offers 10 m range. It is unaffected by ambient light. It is provided with status indicators LED that support the output. Application can be in machine tools, chemical industries, paper, textile, ceramic, etc.
