The CX-1010 is a universal digital motor speed control. It is the intelligent solution for applications that need to accommodate a wide range of changing configurations. Whether for mixing, blending conveyor control, level winding, web handling, extruders, the CX-1010 provides closed loop speed regulation with zero cumulative error. Features: greater resolution and response – offers higher performance with a 1 mSec loop time; handles high encoder frequencies up to 180 kHz; it has a fully isolated input/output and excellent noise immunity; compatible with DC/AC/servo/vector drives; has quadrature and line driver encoder capability; operator interface – the 14 line display has English labels; menu and help screens ease programming; configurable screens help to simplify operator data; keypad controls display information and enters numeric data; clearly labelled key functions; independently configured set-points – has 8 setpoint blocks; operates in master or follower with inverse and offset variations; has two modes of operation, velocity and position modes; offers wide flexibility in all adjustments; setpoints can be created and changed easily, as can tuning and alarm and scale factors; has multiple limits and alarms; built-in PLC – includes timer/counter and batching functions; PLC permits easy customizing at installation; factory automation scheme – addressable, two way communications makes the CX-1010 ideal for distributed control, providing interrogate, down-load and command functions, with direct access to control parameters for simple setup and monitoring; analog option – features analog option card – 2 in and 1 out channel; high gain load cell version available; Devicenet option – ODVA version 2.0 conformance tested to 500K Baud; and Group 2 server.
