Intelligent Power Factor Regulator

M B Control & Systems offers Intelligent Power Factor Regulators (Model 806 and 812). The unit provides six-step (for Model 806) or twelve-step (for Model 812) power factor regulation. It also provides display of three-phase voltage, current, power factor, frequency, and temperature. The unit also provides alarm set points (High and Low) for each of the above parameters. The alarm relay output can be used to generate alarm if any parameter exceeds the set limit. Following parameters can be programmed in the unit at site: CT ratio, Delay time and Alarm set points (via front panel keys). The programmed data is retained in non-volatile memory of the unit, even after power is switched off. The intelligent power factor regulation unit provides alarm for improper phase sequence and failure of capacitor bank. This panel mounting (panel cutout 138 x 138 mm, depth 93 mm) intelligent regulator is housed in a strong ABS plastic case. It is suitable for operation in up to 60?C ambient temperature.
