APPL manufactures pneumatic nippers for cutting leads of components on a PCB. Model APN-5 cuts leads up to 0.5 mm dia and model APN-10 cuts leads up to 1.0 mm dia. The tools have hardened and ground steel blades that impart a clean cut when operated. The tool is very light in weight and very compact in construction, especially useful for lady operators. The cutting action is very fast. The blades are replaceable without opening the tool.
