Safe Proximity Switch, PSENini

Inteltek Automation JV offers a new safety product, PSENini Safe Proximity Switch from Pilz, Germany, for safe monitoring without actuators, The safe proximity switch detects the approach of metallic objects without the use of contacts. It supplies the necessary safe signals via positions and end limits, thereby ensuring a smooth production process. PSENini is suitable for tasks with long cams or where several positions are to be detected; it can also be used to generate the pulse for counting tasks or for detecting rotational movements (up to 10 Hz). Compared with normal mechanical switches, these switches provide highest productivity and have a long service life. The non-contact, non-wearing operation of the safe proximity switches PSENini makes them ideally suitable for: monitoring cams; rolling doors; to generate the pulse for counting tasks; and for speed monitoring. In addition to this they are also perfectly suitable for door monitoring, like covers, flaps, safety gates, etc.
