Industries Syndicate offers electronic braking system for squirrel cage induction motors up to 20 HP. This electronic braking system would stop the motor almost instantly when several motors are programmed to be used in a particular sequence on an automatic system like wood working machinery, textile machinery, machine tools, etc. Braking torque and braking time are both instantly adjustable such that motor stopping time can be set to maximum permissible limit for satisfactory operation to allow for minimum strain of the motor. The unit has been tried out on wood working machine with complete satisfaction. It can be used on higher size motors also as desired.
