Capacitance & Loss Measuring Bridge

Accurate measurement of the capacitance (dielectric constant) and loss factor of insulation materials or electrical insulation systems, especially in high voltage equipment, is very important for the diagnosis of these electrical quantities. All bridge circuits used hitherto for performing such measurements are balanced either manually or automatically, with advantages of either of these two methods. The Presco comparator bridge of the TG series combines advantages of both in one unit. High precision is typical of both modes which are activated by a simple switch. Measurement of test voltage is an integral part of the system. Automatic, subsequent balancing is performed every 0.6 second.
