CTS Electrocomponents Corporation offers Series 448 slide potentiometers. They have an integral SPDT power switch, which allows users to achieve both linear variable resistance adjustment and SPDT switch actuation in a single device. The need to source both a linear motion slide control and a separate SPDT power switch is eliminated. Applications include use in home automation, such as in appliance controls, lighting, and fan speed controls.
