Servo Flex Couplings

Miki Pulley, Japan offers Servo Flex range of ultrahigh rigidity flexible couplings, a result of unique development capabilities. It has gained high reliability by its layered plate spring format as its best shape, which is rigid in the torsional direction and flexible in the bending asymmetrical and axial directions. Model SFC couplings are made of strong high strength aluminium alloy with RoHS directive compliant. These are of two types: SFC-SA2 – single membrane for high rigidity; and SFC-DA2 – double membrane for high flexibility. These couplings are clamp mounting only with one bolt and taper shaft compatible adapter. The membrane is made of stainless steel plates. These couplings are zero backlash and are used in machine tool industry for axis application, servo applications for accurate positioning. The SFM model is metal coupling suitable for machine tool main shaft with maximum rotation speed of 20000 RPM, suitable for high precision mounting by using excellent centring mechanism. These couplings are also available in single and double membrane type.
