Dissolution Test Apparatus

Labindia's DISO is a new instrument used in dissolution analysis. Dissolution analysis is routinely performed in the pharmaceutical industry with the object of assessing the disintegration and dissolution characteristics of a capsule or tablet. This apparatus simulates the conditions of the human gastric system, thereby enables the manufacturer to study the dissolution profile of the tablet or a capsule. The DISO incorporates the state-of-the-art technology in the dissolution test. The unit is aesthetically designed with complete microprocessor control and conforms to the requirements of USP, BP and IP. It has & membrane keyboard with a digital readout of the RPM, time and temperature. The system is completely microprocessor controlled and has a battery backed-up memory. Paddle and shaft assemblies are made of polished stainless steel and the stirrers are stepper motor controlled. Labindia's DISO, in conjunction with PerkinElmer UV/VIS spectrometers and dissolution software, is said to be the best automated tablet dissolution system on the market.
