Dry Block Temperature Calibrator

Systems Engineers, a company well-known since 1985 for manufacturing of dead weight tester, hydraulic/pneumatic pressure comparators offers a Dry Block Temperature Calibrator to suit ISO 9000 calibration requirements. It features a unique design with low cost and user-friendly operation. It can compare a known temperature, displayed on the digital display of temperature controller, against temperature gauge or RTD and thermocouple temperature sensor. One can set a desired temperature up to range from ambient to 400°C/600°C with readability of 0.1°C using keyboard operation on PID temperature controller display. Dry block calibrator achieves the set temperature with optimum PID parameter set on controller. Once PV gets stabilised and reaches to set value, it can be compared to the PV (process value), the stabilised temperature of calibrator with IUT (instruments under test). The IUT may be any temperature gauge, PT-100 or thermocouple temperature element or sensor. There are four standard inserts provided with temperature bath:
1) 1 x 6.3 mm, 1 x 8.0 mm and standard 6.3 mm holes
2) 1 x 10 mm and standard 6.3 mm hole
3) 1 x 12.5 mm and standard 6.3 mm holes
4) 1 x 19 mm and standard 6.3 mm holes

Each diameter hole is 124 mm deep to insert that size temperature element. With each insert element having two holes, one for standard element to measure the temperature of dry block calibrator and second hole to measure IUT (instrument under test) temperature gauges or element. A separate hollow insert with 28 mm ID and 124 mm deep is provided to keep to multiple of odd size temperature element calibration with standard element. A hollow space needs to fill by white MgO (magnesium oxide) powder for uniform heating.
