ElMeasure India offers eNavigator, a sophisticated Power Analyser that enables the user to navigate the full scope of an electrical network and empowers to manage power efficiently. It is a common phenomenon that the equipments/motors often break down in any industry due to various reasons. Typically, the reasons could be poor incoming power quality, improper/floated earthing, process defects, loose connections in current route, poor safety measures, unskilled operators, natural calamities (lightening, flood), etc., The damage due to natural calamities is very hard to control by human beings. The conventional approach is to analyse data after such an incident and try and determine the root cause of failure. The innovative approach would be finding a way to get advance information on break down/failure of the expensive equipment, which could eventually avoid the adverse affects (process interruption, wastage of raw materials, production loss, improper utilisation of man power) resulting from the breakdown of machines. eNavigator series meters having digital output option can be used effectively to protect the equipment. The threshold limit (abnormality level) can be set in the meter for Over/Under Voltage, Current, Frequency, Over W, Under PF, kWh, or any process parameters like pressure or temperature as eNavigator can accept two analog input like 0-20 mA or 4-20 mA or any DC voltage. Tripping delay can also be programmed to suit the load condition. The meter gives the control output, which can be connected, to alarm/tripping contactor when the threshold limit crosses. Setting the time delay in the meter can ignore momentary abnormalities thus avoiding nuisance tripping.
