Amruta Electronics offers Coating Thickness Gauge. These are used for measurement of non magnetic coating on magnetic surfaces. Principles of operation: it works on principle of electromagnetic induction AC current of constant voltage flows through the coil on core. The current varies in relation to inductance variation of the coil affected by bringing the coil close to or away from the magnetic material. Change in current depends upon distance between the coil and the magnetic material, which implies to the thickness of the coating on magnetic material.
