Turbine Blade Measuring Systems

Nextec Technologies, Israel offers Turbine Blade Measuring Systems, which is a unique non-contact laser based blade measuring system – ‘ Wizblade ‘. It is ideally suited for precise and high-speed inspection of turbine blades and equipped with patented point laser to perform accurate scanning of blades with best accuracy and speed. It is built on CMM platform and offers an automatic alignment function, which obviates need of expensive fixtures for alignment. It effectively measures root profiles, leading/ trailing edge profile, blade cross-section, etc., thereby providing comprehensive solution for turbine blade inspection together with customised inspection reports. While on the fly measurement of a typical blade cross section is performed in about 8 seconds, the software provides real time display of actual points as well as contour profile plots. Data analysis, automatic comparison with design data and tolerances (CAD compare) together with multicoloured display of measured profiles are basic functions of software.
