Welding Gauges

A J Mehta & Co supplies various types of welding gauges. The vernier caliper type welding gauge is for measuring of flat welding seams and welding seams in corners. The gauge has angles of 60o, 70o, 80o and 90o. In this way the required V-seam angles can also be measured on flat welding seams. Reading is 0.1 mm. The fan type welding gauge is fan shaped with 12 blades for testing the different welding seams on rectangular welded corners of 3 to 12 mm. The stainless steel welding gauge is a universal welding seam measuring instrument for simple, quick and rational measuring and controlling of welding seam dimensions. Reading is 0.1 mm direct without vernier. By very simple handling of the instrument little time is required during measuring. The instrument has only one support; therefore measuring errors are largely eliminated, eg, as a consequence of angle shrinkage. Instructions for use are shown on the instrument.
